Returning a Purchase

If your purchase is not working for you, we’ve got you covered by offering free and easy returns.
In most cases, whether your purchase was made at a JD Sports store or online at JDSports.ca, merchandise may be returned with an original sales receipt when the items are:

• Unworn, in original condition;

• Returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories);

• Returned in their original packaging or box (if the returned item is footwear); and

• Returned within 28 days of the original purchase. Items returned within 14 days are eligible for a full refund, items returned within 28 days are eligible for an exchange. If an exchange item is unavailable store credit will be issued.

We reserve the right to determine whether merchandise without an original sales receipt may be returned. If we determine that a return is warranted despite the lack of an original sales receipt, the item(s) can only be an exchange or store credit issued in the amount of the lowest price at which the item(s) was offered for sale in the 28 day period prior to the return. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

When returning or exchanging an item, you may be asked to provide your name and phone number. That information and the details of your return will be recorded in a company-wide database that we and our affiliates use to authorized returns, subject to our Privacy Policy.

If you purchased an item from a JD Sports store, simply return your item at any JD Sports store. Items purchased online must be returned by mail to our warehouse. Please note that any order placed at an electronic kiosk in one of our stores is considered an online order and must be returned by mail.

Returned items may be exchanged when returned in-store if an exchange item is available.

Please note, all products marked as final sale are ineligible for refund, exchange, or cancellation and cannot be returned for any reason. If a product is final sale, a disclaimer will be clearly marked within the product description.

Return of JD Sports Store purchases:

Items purchased at a JD Sports store can be returned at any JD Sports store within 28 days of the original purchase. Please note that any order placed at an electronic kiosk in one of our stores is considered an online order, not an in-store purchase.

Returned items may be exchanged when returned in-store if an exchange item is available.

Items returned must satisfy the requirements of our Return Policy.

Return of Online purchases:

Items purchased online at JDSports.ca can be returned by mail within 28 days of the original purchase. To initiate a return, please visit our returns page to submit a request.

You’ll need your order number and the email address you used to place the order, and then you can select the item(s) you wish to return.

Once your return request is submitted, our Customer Experience team will get back to you as soon as possible upon review. Approval may take up to 5 business days and requests may be declined if items do not satisfy the requirements of our Return Policy.

Please note, sale products and release products are not eligible for return or exchange.


Return of In-Store Purchases:

The fastest way to return or exchange an item purchased in one of our stores is to do so in-store. To return or exchange an item in a JD Sports store, please bring:

1. Your original receipt.

2. Your original form of payment.

Authorization numbers are NOT required for return to a store.
We will issue a refund to your original form of payment.

Return by Mail:

All orders placed on JDSports.ca or at an electronic kiosk in one of our stores must be returned by mail. To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Experience team.

Return of items that are damaged or that were not ordered:

To return items that are damaged or that were mistakenly shipped to you, please contact Customer Experience as soon as possible and no later than 28 days after the original purchase for assistance.

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or in a JD Sports store credit.

If we choose to provide you a refund even if no record of sale is available, we will ask you for personal identification and the return will be provided at the item’s current price in JD Sports store credit.

Please note:
Shipping Charges: Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping charges if you paid shipping for the returned item.
Timing of Refund for Items
Returned by Mail: If you paid for a returned item with a credit card, we’ll credit your account within 14 business days. This may show on your next statement, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle.

CANCEL AND CHANGE REQUESTS

The window of time for cancellations or changes is very short due to our order fulfillment processes. If you need to cancel or change your order, contact Customer Experience as soon as possible.

We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your request will be honored. If part or all of your order is successfully cancelled, we will send you an email for your records.

Please note:

• For order changes, once we have confirmed your order, we cannot change or add anything to the order without attempting to cancel it first.

• If your order has already shipped, we won't be able to cancel the order. If this happens, simply return the order once you receive it. See our Return Policy for further details. We don’t refund shipping for shipped orders.
